Airport Association
AAND was formed for the purposes and objectives listed below:
1) To promote the adoption of just and proper laws, rules, and regulations governing management and operations of airports throughout North Dakota.
To promote, develop, and improve a sound, local airport financial structure economically strong in community support.
3) To bring together the aviation interests of North Dakota by becoming a member of the North Dakota Aviation Association, and with other associations, organizations, and agencies of mutual aviation interests.
4) To coordinate and cooperate with other members of this Association, with state and federal aviation agencies in planning, establishing, acquiring, developing, constructing, purchasing, enlarging, improving, maintaining, equipping, operating, regulating, and protecting airports and air navigation facilities within this state.
5) To promote the removal of airport obstructions, the lighting of such obstructions if they exist, or prevent the establishment of airport hazards.
6) To lower aviation fatalities and serious aircraft accidents through development of a safer airport environment.
7) To promote and improve existing scheduled air carrier, commuter, and air taxi service in the state.
8) To promote aviation education within the state through scholarships, job fairs and other educational based events and opportunities
